(01.) 2015 in Music

To say that I couldn’t be happier that 2015 is over is an understatement,  2015 was possibly one of my worst years.  But regardless, I am looking forward to what this year has to hold and decided instead of recapping my year in photo’s, I will recap it in music.  Music videos to be more exact, some of my favorite sounds from 2015.

Work Song by Hozier (01.)

“Work Song” by Hozier is easily one of my favorite songs of 2015, not only is it beautiful and well written but the video is even more captivating.

Electric Heart by BØRNS (02.)

“Electric Heart” is another amazing song that makes you just feel happy and loved when you listen to it.

BRNT (feat. The EMEFE Horns) & FANFARE by Magic City Hippies (03.)

If you’ve been keeping up with my playlist this past year then you know how much I love the Magic City Hippies.  I have really fallen in love with their music this year.  They have such a unique sound.

BRNT:

FANFARE:

No Place Like Home feat. JONES by HONNE (04.)

I don’t there are words to describe just how beautiful this song is, for me this song easily made me recall memories from my past, which happens to be one of favorite things when listening to music.

Landslide by Oh Wonder (05.)

Another playlist favorite, Oh Wonder.

Stars by Connie Constance (06.)

Wow.  Is all I can say, her voice is intoxicating and “Stars” was on constant repeat last year.

Not Gonna Let You Walk Away by LOLO (07.)

When I first heard this song I instantly knew this was going to be a hit.  This song is the complete package with sharp lyrics, amazing vocals and a nice beat.

South & The Halocline by Hippo Campus (08.)

I could say that Hippo Campus was one of the highlights of 2015 and I would not be lying.  These two songs from Hippo Campus are my absolute favorite of their’s and will gladly be taken in 2016 with me.

South:

The Halocline:

Greek Tragedy by The Wombats (09.)

It’s safe to say that I am obsessed with The Wombats, my only New Year’s goal this year is to see them live in concert!  This song is what sold me on The Wombats, it’s like “The Breakfast Club” in the since that you know it will always be a classic.

Hope your New Year is full of good music, style and faith.

xx Erin.
