H O N N E

FEATURED ARTIST: H O N N E

HONNE is a an electric pop duo based out of London and is made up of James and Andy (no last name).  The duo names is Japanese for ‘true feelings’, which appropriately feels the band considering their true feelings are expressed throughout their music.

Of all the featured artist displayed on Wild Captivity thus far, HONNE happens to be one of my ultimate favorites.  After discovering them on Soundcloud and hearing ‘No Place Like Home’ featuring Jones for the first time I was instantly hooked!  When people ask me to describe my taste in music HONNE is the definition of my taste in music, perfection.

James and Andy came together in 2014 and have been making music every since, one of the best things about HONNE is that both James and Andy write and produce the music.  Making it in my opinion the best quality.  Often times when bands sign with big producers they lose their sound and what makes them special.  in the band HONNE’s case what makes them special is their lyrics.  Every song by HONNE has a story and a deeper meaning behind it, showcasing something intimate and personal to them.

I could go on all day about how amazing HONNE is but I am just going to let you see for your self.  HONNE is about to drop a new EP- ‘Gone Are the Dayes’.  Check it out here.  Featuring one of my favorite songs by them, ‘No Place Like Home’ featuring Jones.
