FYFE

ALBUM COVERS BY FYFE

One of the best feelings is rediscovering  an old song that you’ve fell in love with.  When Solace by Fyfe resurfaced on my study playlist I knew all studying would be done for the night.  The music by Paul Dixon (Fyfe) is in the easiest terms, captivating.  It draws you in and makes you want the repeat button.  When that came to replay the song I noticed some of the most beautiful album artwork I’ve seen in a long time.  I was so inspired by it that I decided to make a post about some of my favorite album covers.  This post was originally supposed to be a composed post of many bands, but it just turned into a Fyfe appreciation post.

Solace Remixed (2015)

(This is not the remixed version, the original is much, much better.)

What makes these album cover’s so beautiful, besides Dixon just being beautiful is it’s vibrant use of colors.  I love how there is such a contrast between the colors on his face and the dark black background.  The way his face is painted against the black backdrop makes it appear as if his face is coming off the screen.  This in combination with his bewitching music makes for a euphoric feeling when listening.

Hope you enjoyed.

xx. Erin

P.S.
Here’s the music video for Solace. Which just so happens to be my favorite song by Fyfe.
